The short version: we collect only what you choose to send us, we use it only to respond to you and run our business, and we never sell it. Here's the long version.
Who we are
Tessera Build Co. ("we," "us") operates this website, including the Trade Up consulting pages. You can reach us at brandon@tesserabuild.com or 774-849-2006.
What we collect, and when
- Contact & inquiry forms. When you submit a project inquiry or the Trade Up fit questionnaire, we receive what you typed — name, contact details, and the business or project information you provide. Questionnaire answers may include business and financial details; treat the form like the confidential conversation it begins.
- The Business Health Scorecard. Your answers are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us. When you complete it, we receive an anonymous notification containing your total score and grade only — never your individual answers, name, or contact details.
- Benchmark report requests. If you ask for the benchmark report, we receive the email address you enter together with your score and pillar totals so we can prepare and send it.
How submissions travel
Forms on this site are delivered to us by Formspree, a form-processing service that transmits your submission to our email. Formspree processes the data on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
What we do with it
- Respond to your inquiry, schedule conversations, and prepare for them.
- Prepare materials you've requested (like the benchmark report).
- Keep ordinary business records of correspondence.
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not send marketing email you didn't ask for. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the site (like Formspree) or where the law requires.
Cookies & tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics. We use your browser's localStorage only to save your own progress in tools like the scorecard and questionnaire, on your device. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives standard technical request data (like your IP address) when fonts load.
Retention
Inquiry and questionnaire submissions are kept as long as needed to evaluate and serve the potential engagement, then as ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- Use the scorecard without providing any contact information — it works fully without an email.
- Clear your browser's site data to remove locally-stored progress.
- Email us to access, correct, or delete information you've sent: brandon@tesserabuild.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes to how we handle questionnaire data will be noted plainly, not buried.
